Did you know that Ford tractors used to be manufactured and branded as Fordson by Ford and Son Inc. or Ford Motor Company Ltd (UK)?  By 1964 the brand Fordson was dropped and all tractors were made under the brand Ford. I stumbled across this tractor while walking through Shantytown Heritage Park in Greymouth New Zealand. I loved the stark contrast of color (the black vs. the yellow) and the differences between the portions and directions of the rectangles in the grate and its metal casing. 

Ford + Son reminds me to savor memories and embrace experiences. One of the last trips with my mother, before she passed was visiting this town. A collection of items that reminds you of a past life. Now, it is a reminder of the great time we had exploring.
